Packaging

We can supply packaging in the following forms:

Cryovac

Vacuum sealed packaging where air is removed from the package before an air-tight seal is made. The removal of oxygen from the product help to prolong product life and prevent degradtion from the presence of oxygen.

MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging)

Nitrogen is inserted into the packaging to prevent package from collapsing. MAP packaging ensures that packaged food products stay fresh and attractive for as long as possible.

Thermoform

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product.

Darfresh (Skin Packaging)

A process that utilizes two films to create a vacuum package which has a second skin appearance (VSP). Fresh red meat cuts have a higher quality taste and tenderness because no MAP gases are used and the product “wet ages” in the package
